The Annual Lawn Competition

Brisbane's Best Lawn is back!

Entries are now closed for this year's competition and public voting is now open. Our judges have selected the top 10 lawns from all entries and we now need your help to narrow it down to the top 3. Cast your vote below.

Is your lawn a cut above the rest?

Centenary Landscaping Supplies, along with Twin View Turf, UltraGrow, QLD Lawnies, and Lawn Solutions Australia are looking for Brisbane households with beautiful lawns. We’re on the hunt for everything from manicured lawns (get out the trimmers!), to natural and landscaped lawns. If you’re proud of your lawn stripes or have gotten creative with your lawn design, Brisbane’s Best Lawn Competition is for you.

Who has Brisbane's Best Lawn?

All entries to our lawn competition will have a chance to win the top prize and title of “Brisbane’s Best Lawn 2022”. The expert judging panel will select a top 10 from all entries, and three finalists will be selected from a public vote. The judges will then select the worthy lawn to take out the top spot. Brisbane’s Best Lawn will be assessed against the following criteria:

Sub categories

Are you a lawn fanatic but don’t run with the cylinder crowd? You should still enter for the chance to be crowned the winner of the sub categories.
Best Natural Lawn
A longer lawn (25-50mm) of any species maintained regularly. Edges are well defined and maintained neatly but may feature more organic shapes.
Best Landscaped Lawn
A lawn of any species integrated into a broader landscape (e.g. smaller lawns surrounded by well maintained gardens featuring organic shapes and edges).
Best New Lawn

A first time competition entry that receives the most public votes outside of the final 3.

FAQ

When entries close on 31st December, the expert judging panel will pick the top 10 entries to go into public voting. The public is encouraged to vote for their top 3 lawns they believe are deserving to take out the top spot. Where an entrant votes for their own lawn, that vote will not be counted. The same lawn cannot be voted for twice by a single voter.

Once voting closes, we tally up the votes and determine who goes through to judging from the top 3 lawns as voted for by the public.

We’ll let you know when we find some… just kidding 😉

Each year we bring together expert industry representatives to judge each lawn based on set criteria.

Judges will be announced closer to the competition time.

Every entry will be minimum 3 different photos for their lawn. Include angles that show your lawn’s best characteristics. Be careful to ensure your photos are in focus and clearly depicting your lawn in its entirety and its best characteristics. Images must be clear, not pixelated or blurry.

Your entry will make or break your chances to be in the top 10. So it’s important to take the time to make sure your entry is top notch.

Add as much information as you can, especially in your lawn care process as this will help with voting. Also, make sure you upload some high-quality photos for your entry as this will also help with voting. We will only include entries with photos that meet the requirements as per the entry criteria.

Nope! A voter can only submit a vote for an entry once. And should an entrant vote for their own lawn, this vote will not be counted.
